"Nancy exemplifies honesty, fairness, and thoughtfulness. Nancy will use those qualities to help create a productive school board that focuses on the future needs of the district and supports teachers and administrators to effectively do their jobs to meet the needs of all DC-G students."

I am the product of amazing public school teachers! My teachers at Central Dallas School in Minburn were truly special. I especially connected with my third grade teacher. In early elementary school I struggled. I wasn't reading chapter books by third grade. I required speech therapy services. My teacher helped me to overcome these challenges. She taught me to read, introduced me to a book series and inspired a lifelong love of learning. In many ways she is the reason I decided to become a teacher.

I am honored to receive this candidate endorsement from my former Central Dallas School, third grade teacher Mrs. Davidson.

Beyond a doubt, Nancy Baker Curtis is highly qualified to run for the at-large school board position in the Dallas Center - Grimes CSD School District. As a parent, teacher, and advocate for the needs of children, Nancy has the qualities needed to make decisions for all the students at Dallas Center- Grimes. In all she does, Nancy exemplifies honesty, fairness, and thoughtfulness. Nancy will use those qualities to help create a productive school board that focuses on the future needs of the district and supports teachers and administrators to effectively do their jobs to meet the needs of all DC-G students. Dallas Center- Grimes needs people like Nancy on the school board. Nancy needs you. Vote for her April 11.
